In this seminar, historian Dr Kieran Connell (Senior Lecturer, Queen’s University, Belfast) will discuss his work with Matthew Hilton establishing the CCCS Archive at the Cadbury Research Library, and his interview with Stuart Hall, the last recorded before Hall’s death in 2014. Kieran will share the historical insights gained from that work, on the struggles generated for the CCCS in relation to its conservative host institution and as a project of collective working.
