We are planning an event for spring 2024 to think through what Stuart Hall might have had to say about generative AI – more details on this to follow soon.
On 21 February, Dr Rebecca Roach, Principle Investigator of the ‘Dialogues’ strand of the Stuart Hall Archive Project, delivered a talk entitled ‘Conversation Machines, Missing Secretaries, Bad Readers’ as part of UCL’s DIS research seminars series. This research was supported by a Leverhulme Trust Research Fellowship.
A recording of this talk is below, and further details of the seminar can also be found on the DIS Research Seminars blog.
