The Stuart Hall Archive Project is leading us in many different directions. In defining the field of cultural studies, Hall attended closely to the various forms of academic work. SHAP PI Dr Rebecca Roach has recently launched a blog, keyforms.bham.ac.uk, to promote the work of an international network of scholars dedicated to cataloguing and analysing the forms that academic work takes today.
The network’s title is a riff on the seminal book Keywords (1976) by Raymond Williams; Hall described Williams as ‘the most formative intellectual influence on my life’.
