Recent findings of the Stuart Hall Archive Project: Readings research has been reported in the New Statesmanin recognition of Saturday 10 February—marking 10 years since Stuart Hall’s death. The article, ‘The discovery of Stuart Hall’s A Cure for Marriage’ by Donna Ferguson, discusses the unpublished monograph ‘Cure For Marriage: A case study in method’ written by Hall in collaboration with Richard Hoggart and graduate students at the Centre for Contemporary Cultural Studies in 1968. In addition to the article, New Statesman have published a short extract from the book.*

Nick Beech, Angela McRobbie, Francesca Sobande and Julie Whiteman will be discussing ‘Cure for Marriage’ at a symposium on Friday 3 May at the University of Birmingham—details to follow.
